Job description:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions within the specified timeline and budget. This role requires technical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Our projects can be from board development to complex systems that included the mechanical engineering too, up to administrative projects. You handle the project internally but also with our external partners. A rollout project of on-site installations should not afraid you as well, to complete the whole project scope from development to installation.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, vendors, stakeholders, and customers, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project deliverables in the team.
• Technical Understanding: Understand the technical aspects of the project, provide guidance to the team, and make informed decisions to overcome technical challenges.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any changes that may impact the project’s outcome.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill the defined requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and change logs.
• Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and implement best practices.

Your profile:

• Technical degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electronic, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, …).
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Technical background or passion with familiarity in the electronic and mechanical area is key.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions.
• Project management certification is a plus.
• Experience with project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello). We are working with Wrike.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Fluent German and English Language

Aditional Information:

• This is a full-time position located at Seefeld, Bavaria Germany.
• Hybrid working models possible.
• Occasional travel may be required to meet with remote teams or clients.
