Junior Media Buyer in Berlin

Berlin Vollzeit Homeoffice

KittySpout / DoggySpout is looking for a hungry Junior Media Buyer to join our team! You will launch every approved ad fast and right, and manage budgets, campaigns and ads across Facebook, Google, AppLovin, TikTok and Snapchat, following our SOPs. This is a growth seat: you work directly with our Head of Growth and learn from them day in, day out.

We spend $2,500,000+ per month on paid media, so you'll get more reps in a month than most buyers get in a year. We are looking to hire someone with 1–3 years of Meta media buying, with Facebook as their main specialty. The ideal candidate is hungry, humble, gets the details right every time, and wants to grow from Junior Media Buyer to Media Buyer, Senior Media Buyer and Head of Paid/Growth.

The mission of this role

Launch every approved ad fast and right, and manage budgets, campaigns and ads across Facebook, Google, AppLovin, TikTok and Snapchat (about $2.5M+ a month), following our SOPs. Success is ads live within 24 hours, budgets surfed and scaled through the day, and spend and CPA targets hit consistently. The path is Junior Media Buyer → Media Buyer → Senior Media Buyer → Head of Paid/Growth, earned by consistently hitting spend and CPA targets.

Who are we?

KittySpout is a premium DTC brand selling stainless steel cat water fountains, filters and accessories. We sell across Shopify, Amazon and Chewy, and we're one of the fastest-growing brands in the pet space – $50M+ in annual revenue and scaling to $100M+. We recently launched DoggySpout, expanding into an entirely new vertical and customer base. We're a 100% remote, lean, senior team that moves fast, and every person here has a massive impact on the business.

What is our culture like & who is a good fit?

Culture-fit is our #1 factor when hiring! We have a genuine will-to-win. No work is beneath us if it moves us towards our goals. We use creativity to do more with less – and quickly. We use data to make decisions and live by four core values:

  • Better Everyday – improve one thing in the buying process each week and write it into the SOPs.
  • Speed Is King – launch within 24 hours, and check and scale budgets every couple of hours.
  • Work Smart – AI and automation first. Use AdManage, Claude and automations for launching and admin, and spot tasks that can be automated.
  • Overdeliver – bring the Head of Growth the problem and the fix before being asked.

If you want a stress-free corporate 9–5 job, this isn't it.

If you want to challenge yourself and shape a fast-growing company, work directly with the founder, and play a big role in scaling it to $100M+... If you want to drive results with a group of passionate, smart, hardworking people, in an environment without politics or corporate chicanery, being hands-on and active – then you've come to the right place.

Outcomes (what success looks like)

90-day targets for each outcome are agreed with you before your start date.

  • Approved ads launch within 24 hours, correctly named and formatted – time from strategist handover to live (Asana, AdManage)
  • Budgets are surfed and scaled every couple of hours across every channel – spend pacing vs plan by channel (ad platforms, Northbeam)
  • Ads and campaigns are optimised daily and spend and CPA targets are hit consistently – spend vs plan and nCPA by channel (Northbeam)
  • Every account is checked daily and big changes are logged – daily account check, Northbeam comments log
  • Media buying processes are written down – SOPs written and kept up to date, so daily admin can be delegated or automated

Key Objectives

  • Launch approved ads, Trybe creator ads, landing pages and funnel tests every day – on time and launch-ready.
  • Manage budgets, campaigns and ads across Facebook, Google, AppLovin, TikTok and Snapchat.
  • Surf and scale budgets every couple of hours, and run the daily budget reset at about 2am EST.
  • Check every ad account daily in Northbeam, optimise to our SOPs and log big changes.
  • Write and improve our media buying SOPs so daily admin can be delegated or automated.
  • Learn from the Head of Growth every week and apply the feedback the next day.
  • Fully remote, full-time
  • Fluent in English
  • Meta Media Buying: About 2 years (1–3) of hands-on Meta media buying is a must – Facebook is your main specialty and you understand it well.
  • Time Zone & Availability: Available at about 2am EST for the daily budget reset.
  • Attention to Detail: You get naming and formatting right every time.
  • Reliable: You do the daily checks and budget resets every day, without being chased.
  • Ready to Learn: You learn quickly, ask for the why behind each decision, take feedback well and apply it the next day. No ego.
  • Long-Term Mindset: You want to work side by side with a senior buyer and see this as the start of a path to Head of Paid/Growth.
  • Tools: Comfortable with Meta Ads Manager, and quick to pick up AdManage, Northbeam, Asana and AI tools like Claude.
  • No issue working overtime or on the weekends if needed. You are passionate about your work.
  • Excellent cultural fit as per our values above.
  • Excited to play a big role in scaling the company and work closely with the founder.
  • Bonus points: experience on Google, TikTok, AppLovin or Snapchat; Shopify DTC or pet brand experience.

Accountabilities

What you own. Each one is checked green, yellow or red every week.

  • Launching – Launch ads daily from the Asana launch tasks using AdManage and Claude, launch Trybe creator ads, landing pages and funnel tests, relaunch ads into new ad accounts and create new Facebook pages when strategists request them. Send back anything that isn't launch-ready.
  • Budgets and campaigns – Manage budgets, campaigns and ads across Facebook, Google, AppLovin, TikTok and Snapchat, surf and scale budgets every couple of hours, and run the daily budget reset at about 2am EST.
  • Daily optimisation – Check all ad accounts daily in Northbeam, optimise ads and campaigns to our SOPs, and log big account changes in the Northbeam comments.
  • SOPs and systems – Write SOPs for media buying so the daily admin can be delegated or automated, and update them after each learning from the Head of Growth.
  • Learning and reporting – Post daily priorities, hold a weekly 1:1 with the Head of Growth to review account decisions, update the department KPIs weekly and attend the Thursday performance marketing call.
