Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong network and proven track record within engines and power generation? Do you understand the market, its customers and decision-makers, and know how to turn relationships and market insight into new business opportunities?
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen our presence within the Engine & Power Generation segment and accelerate our growth across Europe and globally.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships while actively expanding our customer base within engines, power generation and related applications. A key part of your role will be to bring KK Group closer to the market and our customers, enabling faster response to RFQs, technical requirements and changing business needs.
You will manage the full commercial process – from identifying and developing new opportunities to negotiations and contract closure – working closely with customers as well as our internal engineering, product and operations teams.
Your existing network and understanding of the Engine & Power Generation market will be key to our success. We are looking for someone who knows the industry, has established relationships with relevant customers and decision-makers, and can use this experience to identify where KK Group can create value and grow our business.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact (“go-to person”) for assigned customers and key accounts within Engine & Power Generation
- Develop and expand KK Group’s customer base within the segment
- Leverage your existing network to establish and develop relationships with engine manufacturers, power generation companies, system suppliers and key decision-makers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders, purchasers and commercial decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities within both existing and new customers
- Manage the entire sales process from initial dialogue and RFQs to negotiations, contract closure and implementation
- Ensure fast and professional follow-up on customer requests, RFQs and business opportunities
- Conduct technical and commercial discussions to understand customer requirements and identify value-adding solutions
- Drive business development activities in close collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Own the sales budget for assigned accounts, including revenue and margin targets
- Monitor forecasts and ensure strong pipeline development and follow-up
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements
- Collaborate internally with operations, engineering and supply chain to ensure successful project execution
- Set pricing strategies in alignment with internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate CRM data and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities
Your profile
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management, preferably within engines, power generation or related industries
- Proven commercial track record within engine technologies, power generation, gensets, energy systems or related applications
- An established network of customers, system suppliers and key decision-makers within the Engine & Power Generation market
- Strong understanding of the market, its customer landscape and commercial dynamics
- Experience with technical products, components, systems or solution-based sales
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in consultative and value-based selling
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into relevant business opportunities
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations and supply chain
- Technical understanding is an advantage, particularly within thermal management, cooling systems or related technologies, but specific cooling experience is not a requirement
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex organizations
- Structured, proactive and driven by developing business and delivering results
- Comfortable working in an international environment across Europe and globally
Do not meet all the requirements? No worries – if you bring strong commercial experience, a relevant network within Engine & Power Generation and a can-do attitude, we would still like to hear from you!
