Overview
In this role, you help secure supply for mechanical, electronic, and optical components while driving cost efficiency and supplier performance. You will collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, and global procurement across the USA, Singapore, and Israel to ensure supply continuity. You’ll negotiate contracts, optimize total cost of ownership, and push supply chain improvements in a fast-paced, international setting. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage sourcing and procurement of mechanical, electronic, and optical components and systems
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements through strategic sourcing and framework agreements
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; continuously improve supplier performance
- Identify and implement supply chain optimization opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce risk
- Represent local site interests in supplier negotiations and escalation processes
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to support operational and business requirements
- Coordinate with global procurement and supply chain teams in the USA, Singapore, and Israel to align sourcing strategies and best practices
- Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and industry developments to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience sourcing mechanical, electronic, and/or optical components
- Knowledge of supplier development and supply chain optimization methodologies
- Experience with contract management and strategic supplier negotiations
- Ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
