Around 35 million users per month make Kleinanzeigen one of the most widely used websites in Germany. Kleinanzeigen was launched in September 2009 as eBay Kleinanzeigen. Since June 2021, the company has been part of Adevinta, a global provider of online classified ads. In May 2023, the name was changed to Kleinanzeigen.
As a Junior Customer Engagement Marketing Manager in our Customer Engagement team, you will help execute and optimize lifecycle communications that enable millions of users to buy and sell successfully.
You will focus on hands-on lifecycle execution in Braze, ensuring that campaigns, journeys, and always-on programs are implemented with precision, quality, and speed. From building Canvas flows to QA and performance iteration, you will help translate lifecycle strategy into scalable, high-performing customer experiences.
Working closely with lifecycle strategists, product managers, analysts, and marketing stakeholders across business units, you’ll ensure that users receive relevant, timely, and trustworthy communication throughout their journey.
As part of the broader Customer Engagement team, you’ll collaborate in agile rituals, contribute to experimentation initiatives, and continuously improve how we design, build, and measure lifecycle programs.
Your work will directly impact activation, retention, and reactivation, helping unlock value from existing users at scale.

Who you are:
- First experience in CRM, customer engagement or digital marketing preferably in an e-commerce or online marketplace is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL and HTML is a plus
- Excellent project management skills, familiar with agile working environments
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
- Ambitious yet unpretentious with a “can do attitude”
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
