As our Policy Manager, you will shape the policies that protect millions of users while enabling a seamless customer experience.
You will work across Legal, Product, Customer Service, Privacy, Fraud, Moderation, Analytics, and Marketing to turn complex legal and business requirements into clear, practical, and scalable marketplace policies.
This is a hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
You report to the Director Customer Service.
Requirements
- You bring 5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Policy Management, Risk, Compliance, Marketplace Operations, or a related field, ideally in a digital platform or marketplace environment.
- You have experience translating complex legal, regulatory, and business requirements into clear, practical, and scalable operational policies.
- You are a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy collaborating across Product, Legal, Customer Service, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment.
- You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing customer experience with safety, risk, and regulatory requirements, and making well-reasoned decisions in a fast-changing environment.
- You have excellent communication skills in both German and English, enabling you to communicate complex topics clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
