Description
As a Staff UX Researcher (parental leave cover), you will shape how Kleinanzeigen understands the needs of millions of private and commercial customers.
You will lead research on our most strategically important initiatives, help set the direction for how we measure user experience over time, and support faster, better-informed product decisions.
You will partner with senior Product, Design, Engineering, and Data stakeholders, turning ambiguous problem spaces into clear research questions and actionable recommendations.
You will help define how Kleinanzeigen continuously listens to its users, combining qualitative depth with always-on metrics like CES and CSAT, and bring AI-assisted approaches into how research is planned, collected, synthesized, and shared.
This is a hybrid role combining remote work with regular presence at our Berlin office, and an 18-month parental leave cover.
Requirements
Who You Are
- Extensive experience as a UX Researcher for digital products in agile environments, ideally at a senior or staff level across multiple teams.
- Strong in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including analysis, documentation, and communication of findings.
- Hands-on experience with continuously measured metrics such as CES and CSAT, applying these signals to guide ongoing product decisions.
- Experience using AI to collect and synthesize user data and to automate research summaries and reports.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders by connecting user insights, product strategy, and business goals into a compelling narrative.
- Experience mentoring UX Designers and raising research maturity across an organization.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, able to bring the voice of the customer to life for varied audiences.
- Preferred: Master's degree in HCI, Design, Cognitive Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Fluent in German and English.
