We are a specialist care hospital with 410 beds in 12 specialist departments and an academic teaching hospital of the University of Münster.

As support for secure and reliable IT operations, we are looking for you as

IT System Administrator (m / f / d)

immediately full-time, permanent.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of our server infrastructure including the focus on AD and GPO, as well as virtualization environment and server hardware.
• Administration of data backup and database systems.
• Administration of the firewall and other security systems.
• Configuration and commissioning of new hardware and software components.
• IT support for projects.
• Support for application software in first and second level support.
• Participation in the on-call service (24 hours on all days of the week).

Your Profile

• You have completed IT-related training or have several years of professional experience in IT administration.
• You have knowledge in the areas of operating systems, virtualization (vmware), databases (MS SQL / Oracle), network and firewall.
• You also have experience with Exchange, GPO, domain administration and Active Directory support.
• You are interested in new things and topics that challenge you.
• You think and act in a customer and service-oriented way.
• You are team-oriented, reliable, structured and responsible on the job and act independently and in a solution-oriented manner.
