Global Commercial Contract Manager (m/f/d)

What you’ll do

• Lead the negotiation, drafting and review of procurement contracts for direct and indirect materials (including quality agreements), service agreements (including SLAs), CAPEX and maintenance contracts.
• Collaborate with technical teams, local procurement colleagues, as well as the legal and finance team to ensure contracts meet business needs, compliance standards and risk management requirements.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments that may impact operations and contracts.
• Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
• Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on contract management practices and category-specific aspects.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, IT or a related field; advanced studies in law (e.g., Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM)) with a concentration in contract law, commercial law or technology law preferred.
• Proven experience in contract management and global contracts, with healthy assertiveness.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms in complex high-value contracts, supported by a solid foundation in legal analysis and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities; fluency in English.
• Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite; knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.
