What you’ll do
- Play an active role in the global KNAUF IT transformation and collaborate within the Cross Platform setup for efficient program delivery
- Serve as the primary contact for technical content of releases on Salesforce platform and deployments, implementing best practices in technical release management to enhance quality and team collaboration
- Handle release planning and scheduling, align timelines with product and business stakeholders, and manage dependencies across ERP, Mulesoft, SAP BTP, and other cloud solutions prior to deployment
- Coordinate and execute deployment operations across various Salesforce environments, manage CI/CD pipelines to improve release efficiency, and troubleshoot deployment issues
- Work closely with product/process owners, solution architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate release details, provide status updates, and continuously refine release processes based on industry trends and feedback
Who you are
- Possess a university degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a comparable field
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing CI/CD/DevOps pipelines, along with several years of technical release management
- Extensive background as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer, preferably with relevant Salesforce certifications and proficiency in deployment management using Copado or similar tools
- Skilled in versioning concepts and tools such as GitHub, with a strong foundation in test automation
- Actively participated in agile development initiatives, familiar with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Service Now, and fluent in English with a preference for German communication skills
- Willingness to travel to KNAUF sites globally from time to time
