Overview
As European Quantitative Power Analyst, you will shape trading strategies in European electricity markets by delivering high-impact analyses. You will operate within the Global Gas and Power team to combine fundamental and statistical methods that inform decisions in a fast-paced trading environment. You will develop and maintain models, prepare data-driven insights, and support market understanding across Europe. This role offers the opportunity to translate analytics into trading opportunities and strategic impact within KM&T’s energy trading ecosystem.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead fundamental analysis of European power markets
- Develop, maintain, and enhance supply and demand (S&D) stack models
- Provide analytical insights to support trading strategies and identify new opportunities
- Manage and improve data inputs and sources for power market analysis
- Support and maintain fundamental research on European electricity markets
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience in European power market fundamental analysis or ability to develop comparable insights
- Experience working with FBMC power stack models
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and their application
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding weather fundamentals in power markets
- Proficiency in Python
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
