Job Description

We are seeking a

Senior Data Scientist (f/m/x) to join our team of innovators.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking solutions that solve real-world problems.

Your Impact

• Develop insights using a wide range of data sources, including IIo T sensor data and other railway domain datasets.
• Develop solutions from understanding the challenge and customer needs to model implementation in production.
• Deploy well-tested and maintainable models into a live system.
• Build tools and infrastructure that contribute to a sensor data analysis ecosystem and contribute to the full software engineering lifecycle.
• Drive innovation and help you and your colleagues improve and grow.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have

• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with

5+ years of hands-on experience in data science.

Fluent in Python and preferably proficient in one other programming language.

• Proficiency in data frame-centric data manipulation tools such as pandas, SQL, Py Spark, or Polars.
• Motivation to engage in both data science and software engineering tasks to deliver production-grade solutions.
• Experience in building, testing, and deploying statistical or ML models in a production environment.
• Good understanding of software engineering clean code, best practices, testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with AWS or Databricks is a plus.
• Experience in leading project topics independently.
• A collaborative mindset and motivation to guide and help other colleagues grow.
• A proactive, impact-driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
