KR in Hamburg serves as KR's Regional Headquarters for Northern Europe, supporting customers across Germany and the Northern European region. Located in Hamburg's HafenCity, our office works closely with KR Headquarters in Korea and plays a key role in delivering professional services to the maritime industry.
KR looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented General Affairs & Accounting Officer to join our KR Hamburg Office on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in accounting and office administration, be fluent in Korean and English, possess a good working proficiency in German, and enjoy working in a dynamic international environment. The position is available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations of the KR Hamburg Office.
- Review, verify, process, and maintain accounting documents and supporting records.
- Prepare payment requests and coordinate banking transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate accounting discrepancies.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities in close cooperation with KR Headquarters.
- Communicate with KR Headquarters in Korean and English on accounting, financial, and administrative matters.
- Prepare financial and management reports, budgets, and business analyses.
- Manage general office administration, including office facilities management, procurement, document control, and office operations.
- Support HR administration, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, personnel records, and employee documentation.
- Coordinate business travel arrangements, expense claims, meetings, and office events.
- Carry out other accounting, general affairs, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a vocational qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, general affairs, or office administration.
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
- Good command of German, both written and spoken, sufficient for day-to-day business communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured, accurate, and reliable approach to work.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in an international working environment.
