Our strategic Client, a leading global provider of roofing and waterproofing solutions is seeking a highly skilled Head of Commercial Finance to support its Germany division (€500M revenue). This is a critical leadership role focused on strategic financial planning, performance management, and business transformation, with a clear succession path to CFO for Germany/DACH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning process, including the Mid-Term Plan (MTP), budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee financial reporting, performance tracking, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide financial and analytical insights to drive commercial decision-making and enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to develop data-driven strategies and optimize financial outcomes.
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and process efficiency across the organization.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ideal Profile:
- MBA in Finance or a related field with 10+ years of FP&A and financial leadership experience.
- Strong track record in change management and driving financial transformation.
- Experience working in a matrix organization, preferably within an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and provide strategic financial guidance.
- Deep understanding of financial legislation, IFRS reporting, and business modeling.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
