Job/Position Summary:
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identification of errors in an HV control unit
- Development and implementation of robust test methods that address risk detection, fault detection and timing
- Troubleshooting down to the component level
- Circuit diagram analyses, detailed measurements, readjustment tests
- Maintenance/adaptation of the analysis test benches
- Preparation of further analysis orders
- Preparation of the analysis report and documentation in the analysis database
- Preparation of the commissioning report with documentation of the tests/results carried out and release of recommendation or restriction
- Presentation of the results and handover
Your Profile:
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent advanced technical training.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware analysis.
- Strong expertise in high-voltage components and electromobility.
- Proven experience with PCB rework, signal tracing, and component/harness modifications.
- Deep understanding of switched-mode power converters (DCDC/DCAC) and their embedded implementations.
- Proficiency in schematic interpretation, board layout analysis, fault diagnosis, and thermal considerations in electronic systems.
- High Voltage Level 2 (HV2) Certification is a plus.
- German language proficiency (min B1 level) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, resilience, and perseverance in challenging situations.
- Outstanding communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English (C1 level).
