Responsibilities
- Operate and manage distributed systems and applications through deployment automation
- Stay current on open cloud technologies
- Interface with clients and advise on the best use of open source technologies
- Support and monitor new platforms and application stacks, anticipating customer needs
- Represent Kubernauts at community events
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five years experience developing, designing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with highly concurrent production-grade systems
- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Golang, Python, Perl, Java, Bash or Ruby
- Strong DevOps culture mindset
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in agile development teams
- Ability to deliver results on time with high quality
- Good knowledge of German and English
