Integration Manager Warehouse Automation (m/f/d)

Your Role

You will be responsible for the technical integration of Warehouse Management System with Warehouse Control Systems in an automated warehouse context of a global organization to create technically stable and best-in-class automation solutions for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

• Support, consultancy and guidance on technical WCS Integration for global warehouse automation in Tender- and Project Phase.
• Coordinate the implementation of Interfaces and Communication (HTTPS, TCP/IP, TLS, etc.) between the Warehouse Control System and the Warehouse Management System while challenging 3rd party providers of Warehouse Controlling System and Material Handling Environments.
• Create and support on technical design of WCS Integration and definition of acceptance criteria for Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Control System and Material Handling Equipment.
• Manage the WCS integration platform, technical setup and deployments considering secured compliance rules of Kühne+Nagel.
• Create and run test scripts and test scenarios within Development Acceptance Test, System Integration Test, Regression Test and support User Acceptance Tests.
• Support, train and coach national and regional colleagues within Kühne+Nagel.
• Define non-functional requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Experience in warehouse automation implementation, with a mandatory understanding of logistics (warehousing automation) processes.
• Profound knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and configuration of WMS Systems; deep knowledge of Blueyonder WMS is beneficial.
• Strong technical understanding, including multiple years of professional experience working in large-scale complex projects and organizations.
• Strong interest in discovering and implementing new technologies regarding automation and digitalization.
• Motivation to work in an international and distributed team and project environment.
• Willingness to travel (occasional business trips, stakeholder meetings).
• Fluent oral and written English language skills.
