In this role, you will leverage your internal audit and business experience to deliver risk-based and complex audit projects. This may include a wide range of topics such as post-merger integrations or major business transformation.
Your Role
As a Senior Auditor, you will conduct special audits which are coming from a risk-based approach and/or are focused to create value-add for Kuehne+Nagel Senior Management. The objective is to catch-up with the innovation and direction of Kuehne+Nagel Leadership, bringing in disruptive ideas to conduct audits going forward, cover emerging risks and ad-hoc requests from Board of Directors and Management Board.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and lead topical audits across the organization, document and report audit results in accordance with professional standards for internal auditing.
- Influence the business by agreeing on corrective actions and delivering clear, concise and insightful audit reports.
- Advise management on control effectiveness, change initiatives and business effectiveness and efficiency.
- Recommend remediation actions to improve the effectiveness of controls and operational procedures (DE/OE).
- As a member of our Special Audit Team, you will lead and support the execution of complex special audits, managing stakeholder expectations and proposing Special Audits to senior management.
- Support the development and implementation of internal audit methodologies/procedures.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Minimum of 5 years of internal audit-related experience, preferably with a big 4 firm or a corporate audit function.
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer focused, collaborative, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented.
- Self-starter who can adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Prior exposure auditing complex programs is a must.
- Good project management skills and the ability to organize complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with data analytics as part of the audit work.
- Experience in Compliance & Forensic is a plus.
