Overview
In this role you support the development and execution of trade strategies across the Transpacific Eastbound lane, collaborating with Europe, Singapore and North America. You build carrier relationships to secure competitive terms and monitor performance, while guiding RFQ/tender activities and market analysis to inform decisions. You work closely with sales, pricing, and operations to drive volume and improve trade performance in a global environment. You’ll contribute to a mission-driven logistics partner that moves critical goods worldwide and supports timely deliveries.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support execution of trade strategies across the Transpacific Eastbound lane and coordinate with regional teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines and carriers to secure favorable commercial terms and service levels.
- Lead or support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with carriers and resolve operational/commercial escalations.
- Coordinate RFQ and tender activities ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with objectives.
- Analyze market trends, carrier performance, capacity, and trade data to inform decisions.
- Prepare reports and insights for internal stakeholders and support trade reviews.
- Collaborate with sales, pricing, allocation, and operations to drive growth and performance.
- Manage trade information platforms and reporting tools to track allocations, contracts, and metrics.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 5 years in sea freight, freight forwarding, carrier management, or related logistics.
- Strong knowledge of international ocean freight operations (FCL, LCL, import/export).
- Proven commercial acumen with carrier/supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
- Experience supporting tenders, RFQs, pricing or procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools; familiarity with market intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Fluent English; knowledge of German, French or other European languages is a plus.
