Responsibilities
Make an impact
- Provide second-level technical support for electrical components of KUKA products, focusing on robot controller systems (KR Cx series),
- Act as a subject matter expert for control systems and drive technology, supporting global customers,
- Troubleshoot complex issues using lab equipment and, when necessary, on-site at customer locations,
- Document all inquiries and solutions in the CRM system and Knowledge DB,
- Collaborate closely with Quality, R&D, and Product Management teams for root cause analysis and product improvements,
- Conduct workshops and prepare technical bulletins for international service technicians,
- Manage quality and complaint processes (field observation, root cause analysis, corrective actions),
- Provide project support for key customers when required.
Application Requirements
What you need to succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or experienced technician,
- Experience in automation systems, drive technology, or troubleshooting electronic components preferred (graduates with strong knowledge also considered),
- Fluency in Hungarian and very good English skills (spoken and written),
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- High customer orientation and ability to work independently,
- Team player with excellent communication skills,
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%, short-term trips typically 1–3 days),
- Project management experience is a strong plus,
- Strong networking skills and cultural competence for cross-border collaboration,
- Ability to work in a decentralized setup and integrate smoothly with the Augsburg team.
