Account Development Manager
Position: KVALITO Consulting Group, Account Development Manager
Location: Remote, Heidelberg, Germany
Type: Full-Time
Travel: 20-50% within Europe
Mission: The core mission of the Account Development Manager (ADM) is to cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients in the life sciences industry, while proactively identifying new opportunities to expand KVALITO Consulting Group's service offerings. Working closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Delivery, the ADM ensures a high level of client satisfaction, supports the business growth objectives, and drives revenue maximization. This role requires a strategic mind-set, excellent communication abilities, and adept management of multiple client accounts to achieve impactful results.
Key Accountabilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
- Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, business challenges, and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication, ensuring consistent client engagement.
Account Growth & Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to align with client needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and business development teams to create and execute growth strategies for each account.
- Consistently meet or exceed account revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Solution Presentation & Delivery Support
- Present solutions developed by delivery teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and demonstrating clear value.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, effectively communicating the benefits of proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the solutions to address client questions and concerns effectively.
- Support smooth implementation processes and proactively resolve any challenges during solution delivery to maintain high client satisfaction.
Market Research & Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market changes that may impact client strategies.
- Provide clients with insights and actionable recommendations to support their business objectives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track account performance metrics and generate regular reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to assess progress, set objectives, and align on future initiatives.
Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, consultants, and client partners to create targeted campaigns for client engagement and new offering promotion.
- Work closely with product teams to share client feedback, contributing to product enhancements that address client needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English & German.
- 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, or sales within a B2B environment.
- Previous experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in growing client relationships and achieving revenue goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing multiple client accounts and prioritizing effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and present findings to clients and internal teams.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-centered approach.
