Are you an experienced leader with a passion for international logistics, export processes, and the continuous optimization of global supply chains? Then join our team asLead of Export Logistics (m/f/d) at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.

In this key role, you will be responsible for the organizational and disciplinary leadership of the Export Logistics team, consisting of nine direct reports. You will ensure the timely and quality‑assured global delivery of seed, machinery, and spare parts.

This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Einbeck, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Disciplinary and functional leadership, management, and development of a team of 9 logistics experts.
• Customs & Foreign Trade: Overall responsibility for all customs and foreign trade processes, including oversight of Foreign Trade Compliance (embargo regulations, dual‑use goods) across the KWS Group.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Acting as the central point of contact for customs authorities, governmental agencies (e.g., BAFA – Federal Office for
• Economic Affairs and Export Control, BLE – Federal Office for Agriculture and Food, IHK - Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and internal departments such as Breeding, Production, and Sales.
• Process Optimization: Continuous development and optimization of the global supply chain strategy and related IT systems (SAP, AEB).
• Project Management: Leading and participating in cross‑functional international logistics projects and logistics workshops.

Your Profile:

• Professional experience in the logistics sector, ideally with expertise in customs process management and prior leadership experience.
• Extensive knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Knowledge of foreign trade regulations, export documentation, and the financial and compliance aspects of logistics.
• Knowledge of SAP (SD/MM), ideally previous experience as a Key User and with EDI interfaces.
• Analytical and strategic mindset, strong intercultural communication skills, and a collaborative team‑oriented approach.
• Business‑fluent German and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
