Senior Controller (m/f/d)

KWS Berlin GmbH is looking for a determined Senior Controller (m/f/d) . With your experience, you will be the first point of contact for operational, technical, and knowledge-based questions within the team. You will support and guide colleagues in the processes of the activities and share the responsibility for the continuous improvement and quality of the results. Your Responsibilities:

1. Supports defining the team strategy and team goals and targets (vision, mission) along with a roadmap (improvements, projects, developments, etc.)
2. Holds process ownership and enforces end-to-end process application
3. Facilitates the creation of a framework for service delivery and the steering of a KPI-based work model
4. Coordinates the operational and functional knowledge-sharing in the team (knowledge transfer sessions)
5. Documentation of business processes and process changes (functional perspective)
6. Responsible for onboarding of systems for new team members as well as for employee assessments and end-of-probation meetings
7. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, standardization, and digitalization within the operations, and takes the lead in initiating process changes to drive progress
8. Conduct analysis to identify the underlying causes of issues and proactively develop effective solutions
9. Fosters a collaborative environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and knowledge along with cross-functional cooperation and an efficient information flow along different functions and BUs
10. Supports the development and implementation of internal controls and compliance measures

Your Profile:

1. Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar
2. Sound controlling knowledge; long-term professional work experience in Controlling and/or Management Accounting
3. Experience working in a Shared Service organization is a plus
4. Proficient knowledge in standard MS Office365 applications and experience working with IT applications (SAP Fi/Co, SAP BW, SAC, Excel, VBA, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, etc.)
5. Fluent in English; German is a plus
6. Approachability with a positive attitude; has the patience to listen, analyzes, and always thinks end to end
7. Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively in a transparent way, targeted to the respective audience
8. Specific knowledge on tasks & experience within the function, including internal quality controls
9. Pro-actively follows up on the open topics, having very good time management and organizational skills
10. Having a passion for change management, being open and welcoming to change
11. Acting as a role model and overseeing the activities of junior controllers in accordance with KWS principles and values
