The Role

As a Cyber Security Senior Consultant, you\’ll be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, ensuring organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape. Your expertise will be sought after as you assess, analyze, and implement effective security measures in customer environments.

Collaboration will be your forte, as you work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. You will provide expert guidance and recommendations on best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies.

You will design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures, working alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and encryption technologies.

You will conduct thorough security assessments, identify potential security breaches, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures through meticulous security audits and reviews. Your findings will drive management decisions and actions.

Staying ahead of the game is crucial. You will continuously immerse yourself in the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices, driving enhancements to the organization\’s security posture.

You will also lend your expertise to the design and review of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring they are secure by design from inception.

In this role, you will collaborate with customers and vendors on security assessments, audits, and due diligence activities, shaping secure collaborations and partnerships.

Required Skills and Experience

1. 7+ years of experience in a Cyber Security field
2. Experience in at least 3 of these areas: SASE, ZT, IAM/PAM, Endpoint protection, CSPM, hyperscalers security suites, Threat Intelligence, OT security, NW security, application protection, encryption
3. Experience advising C-suite
4. Basic knowledge of cloud computing and hyperscaler services
5. Good knowledge of managed cyber security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, and cyber security standards
6. Familiarity with main cyber security vendors and their solutions
7. Ability to communicate fluently in English and German

Preferred Skills and Experience

1. Valid certification in CISSP / CompTIA Security+ / Certified Cloud Security Professional / GIAC Security Essentials
2. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, application security, penetration testing, and secure coding
3. Experience with Security tooling for EDR and SIEM
4. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
