Overview
We are supporting an engineering and manufacturing organisation seeking a commercially focused individual to help drive growth across Germany and the wider DACH region.
This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and supporting the delivery of technically complex projects within highly regulated industries.
Working closely with technical, operational and leadership teams, you will play a key role in developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies across the DACH region
- Identify and engage prospective customers within engineering-led industries
- Build relationships with technical, operational and procurement stakeholders
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle
- Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered successfully
- Maintain pipeline visibility and forecasting through CRM systems
- Represent the organisation at customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions
Requirements
- Experience in business development, technical sales or account management
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skillsli>
- Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent German and English
- Comfortable operating within a dynamic and growing organisation
- Willingness to travel as required
- Engineering, manufacturing or industrial sector exposure
- Experience selling into regulated or technically demanding environments
- Knowledge of complex project-based sales cycles
- Experience working with engineering, production or operations teams
