We are currently looking a Network Technician to support infrastructure projects in Munich. This hands-on role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with solid experience in physical installations, cabling, and basic configuration of networking equipment.

The role is to start at the beginning of October 2025.

Candidate will need to based in Munich or willing to relocate and is fully onsite. Please note that this is a contract/freelance role for 12 months initially with extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, configuration, and de-installation of hardware: switches (LAN), routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and servers.
• Support infrastructure rollouts including switch installation and structured cabling during construction or setup phases.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of equipment, including asset labelling (barcoding) and cable identification.
• Add/remove/document cable and port connectivity; remove unused cabling and hardware.
• Ensure structured cabling and physical setup meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate records of assets and physical infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Network or Field Technician, with strong hands-on skills in installation and cabling.
• Comfortable working independently on-site, taking initiative, and managing tasks without constant supervision.
• Basic configuration skills for network devices (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortigate).
• Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches, and physical network infrastructure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills – able to interact professionally with employees and stakeholders.
• Language Skills: Fluent German (spoken & written), basic English (A2–B1).

Nice to Have

• Experience working during construction or renovation phases of infrastructure.
• Previous experience with data center or office cabling standards and documentation.
