We are currently seeking a System Software Engineer

• for C-Programming.

Essential Functions

• Further development and maintenance of Adabas and Adabas components under Linux / Windows and network components to the Adabas Client side.
• Responsible for solving our customers‘ challenges in close dialog with our support team.
• University degree in computer science, mathematics or another technical-scientific degree.
• Programming skills in C and experience in working with cloud systems.
• Good analytical skills, experience in software design and are familiar with software development methods.
• Practical project experience.
• Familiar with agile development methods according to Scrum or Kanban.
• An independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working is one of your strengths.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Very good communication skills and social competence.
• Flexibility and good teamwork skills round off your profile.

Nice to Haves

• Ideally, you already have Adabas product knowledge.
• Experience in network programming.
