Overview
In this role you support customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing Lam’s complex semiconductor systems, aiming for high uptime and reliability. You work across on-site and cross-functional teams, translating customer needs into effective technical solutions. You’ll stay current with Lam products and equipment, while mentoring junior engineers and guiding field improvements. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at the forefront of customer service in a high-tech setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up services for Lam’s electro-mechanical and electronic systems
- Analyze problems, diagnose, and isolate issues to component level; take corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Keep up-to-date with semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification
- Assist in complex field modifications and updates, maintain records to coordinate activities between Lam and customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and develop customer response action plans to support needs; discuss opportunities and challenges transparently with customers
- Provide technical instruction and mentoring for more junior engineers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field plus 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals
- Ability to work in a clean room and wear appropriate PPE
- Physical ability to perform job tasks for extended periods (bending, stooping, reaching, etc.)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; flexible to various shifts, overtime, and on-call as needed
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
