Overview
In this role you will deliver on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for Lam’s complex semiconductor systems, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction. You’ll diagnose issues, perform field modifications, and mentor junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You help customers operate efficiently while representing Lam with professionalism. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation startup services for Lam’s complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems at customer sites
- Perform analytical problem-solving, diagnostics, and isolate issues to component level, taking corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Stay up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification
- Assist in complex field modifications and updates, maintaining records and coordinating activities between Lam and customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert representing Lam to customers and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and develop customer response action plans to address needs
- Discuss opportunities and challenges with customers to build trust
- Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years; or Master’s with 3+ years; or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals
- Ability to work in a clean room and wear appropriate safety equipment
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, standing, and other movements
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to work various shifts including overtime and on-call
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Foundational analytical and problem-solving abilities
