Overview
In this role, you will support the pilot, virtual, and high-volume manufacturing environments to optimize methods, processes, and operations. You will tackle technical and production challenges while driving cost efficiency and standards across the factory network. You’ll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to transfer new products into production and implement improvements. This is a hands-on role focused on shaping scalable, cost-aware manufacturing solutions within Lam’s innovative culture.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Verify designs of new modules or changes and assess manufacturability
- Develop and refine BOM strategy for manufacturing lines
- Review designs for safety, ergonomics, tooling, and form-fit-function
- Create work instructions and production process steps
- Implement cost-efficient assembly methods across all manufacturing phases
- Transfer non-standard customer requests into production and ensure smooth ramp-up
- Support transfer of new products into high-volume manufacturing
- Collaborate with suppliers and remote factories; travel as needed
- Introduce new ideas to reduce costs and assembly time
- Drive continuous improvement for products, processes, and manufacturing
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting in electro/mechanical assemblies
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing preferred
- Hands-on CAD experience (NX or similar)
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
- MS Office and SAP skills preferred
- Self-managed and proactive working style
- Ability to travel to suppliers or other Lam locations
