Overview
In this role you will support the performance and continuous improvement of product quality across the full lifecycle. You’ll collaborate across development, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive quality excellence within Lam’s Clean Product Line in Villach. You’ll investigate non-conformances from the installed base and translate findings into improvements for products and the quality management system. This position offers cross-functional impact, mentorship, and a clear link between quality and business outcomes. You’ll work in a global quality network to shape reliable, customer-focused solutions and learn from a tech-forward, interdisciplinary environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as a liaison to regional Quality Program Leaders and Functional Quality Managers within a global quality network
- Monitor quality performance and incoming quality records, and report against defined objectives
- Lead cross-functional quality investigations and improvement decisions
- Prevent quality escapes by applying QA methods and transferring lessons from installed-base quality into development
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify systematic issues and drive product and QMS improvements
- Link quality performance to financial impact and support prioritization of quality initiatives
- Mentor and coach Quality Case Owners (QCOs)
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor-level degree with +5 years of related experience, or Master’s with +3 years, or equivalent
- Technical background in semiconductor equipment, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field
- Fundamental understanding of QMS and standard quality processes
- Experience with 8D, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, or similar problem-solving methods
- Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional improvements
- Strong data analysis, data mining, trend analysis, and translating findings into actions
- Fluent English; German is beneficial
- Quality certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt are a plus
- Structured problem-solving mindset
