Overview
In this role you will lead the evolution of AWS and Azure into internal developer platforms, delivering secure, reliable foundations for product teams to ship value quickly.
You’ll own cloud strategy, architecture, and hands-on delivery of platform capabilities, while driving automation and governance across the stack.
You will prototype new cloud services, accelerate technical maturity in Ia C and developer experience, and scale platform standards across Lam.
This is a hands-on leadership position blending architecture, platform engineering, Dev Ex, and SRE practices to create scalable golden paths.

- Own cloud platform reference architecture and roadmaps across AWS and Azure
- Define golden paths for common workloads (containers, serverless, data, analytics, batch)
- Establish multi-cloud landing zones with policy, identity, and network guardrails
- Build an internal developer platform with self-service capabilities (scaffolding, environments, CI/CD, observability, secrets)
- Curate platform catalogs and registries (Terraform modules, container bases, reusable templates)
- Partner with product/engineering to reduce friction and enforce platform standards; champion SLAs/SLOs
- Lead standardization of Terraform (workspaces, state mgmt, backends, testing) and Ansible usage patterns
- Drive Git Ops-based Ia C with security scans, tests, drift detection, and approvals
- Design identity-first architectures and secrets management; enforce policy-as-code and continuous compliance
- Embed SRE practices (SLOs, incident response, postmortems, chaos/gamedays) and standardize observability (logs, metrics, traces)
- Prototype new capabilities (Landing Zone Accelerator, data mesh patterns, EKS/AKS platforms) with reference implementations
- Partner on Fin Ops and cost optimization, showback/chargeback, and anomaly detection
- Mentor engineers, lead communities of practice, and evangelize platform capabilities

- 12+ years in cloud/platform architecture or SRE/Dev Ops leadership
- 5+ years hands-on with AWS and Azure in enterprise settings
- Expert in Terraform (modules, registries, testing, state mgmt) and Ansible (roles, collections, CI integration)
- Deep knowledge of AWS (Organizations/Control Tower, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch) and Azure (Management Groups/Landing Zones, VNets, Entra ID, AKS, Functions, Key Vault, Monitor)
- Proven delivery of internal developer platforms or platform engineering initiatives at scale
- Strong grasp of security engineering and policy-as-code (IAM design, secrets, network security, vulnerability mgmt)
- Proficiency with CI/CD (Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI), artifact registries, and pipeline security
- Experience with observability (Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Monitor, Cloud Watch) and SRE practices
