Overview
In this role you will support and quality-assure software across Lam’s centralized software engineering group, ensuring seamless software-hardware integration for semiconductor equipment. You will troubleshoot, test, and deploy software while interacting with customers and internal teams to translate needs into robust software solutions. You’ll work across the software lifecycle and contribute to improvements that impact the entire product portfolio. This is a hands-on, global role with travel and collaboration at scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle including testing, analysis, and maintenance of software systems
- Assist in SW deployment to ensure qualified products are installed at customer facilities
- Troubleshoot system software issues and provide in-house & onsite support for customer installations
- Test and reproduce issues; clearly communicate bugs to SW and HW development engineers
- Set up and maintain tool simulators and testing environments; provide lab support to verify SW solutions
- Gather customer technology and productivity needs and feed requirements into software development
- Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders and customers
- Travel worldwide (up to 25%) to support semiconductor customers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Technical education in soft- and hardware – HTL /technical high school in electrical engineering, software engineering or similar
- Excellent computer, troubleshooting and statistical process control skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of operating system principles and basic hardware capabilities
- Professional experience is an asset
