Overview
In this role you support customers across installation, maintenance, and repair of Lam’s complex systems, ensuring operational excellence at customer sites. You work on-site, diagnose issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime. You’ll stay current with semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through ongoing training. A core part of the role is mentoring junior engineers and representing Lam to customers, driving trust and satisfaction.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up services of Lam’s electro-mechanical and electronic systems.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component-level issue isolation to minimize downtime.
- Maintain knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
- Assist in field modifications and updates, coordinating activities between Lam and the customer.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and develop customer response action plans to support needs; discuss opportunities and challenges openly with customers.
- Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals
- Ability to work in a clean room environment with PPE or cleanroom suit
- Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, standing, and climbing; willingness to travel domestically and internationally; flexibility for varied shifts and on-call if needed
- Communication skills (written and verbal) in English
