Overview
In this role you will design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing, improving quality and reducing cycle time. You will develop diagnostic tests, design test fixtures, and plan resources to run effective testing operations. You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize test processes and support manufacturing engineering. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position shaping precision and reliability for Lam. You will work in a cross-functional setting, driving cost-efficient testing and innovation.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, develop, and implement cost-efficient test and troubleshooting methods for product development and manufacturing
- Prepare test/diagnostic programs, design fixtures/equipment, and document specifications for new products
- Plan labor, cost, timeline, and equipment for testing and manage work packages for internal and external resources
- Transfer test fixtures to suppliers and provide training and support on-site and off-site
- Support Manufacturing Engineering activities such as assembly instructions, BOM, and verification for specific programs
- Introduce new testing ideas and approaches to reduce costs and test time
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechantronics engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Relevant work experience with Wet-Clean products
- Programming skills (preferably Python)
- MS Office skills
- Experience in lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing methodologies preferred
- Hands-on experience with CAD, NX or similar tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Self-managed and proactive working style
- Willingness to work overtime
- Ability to travel to suppliers or other Lam locations
