Overview
In this role, you will deliver on-site repair, installation, and maintenance of Lam’s complex electro-mechanical systems, ensuring high uptime for customers. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues, perform field modifications, and mentor junior engineers. Your work directly supports operational excellence for semiconductor capital equipment and strengthens customer trust through proactive service. This position offers hands-on impact in a globally recognized tech environment with flexible on-site/remote work options.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up services of Lam systems at customer sites
- Diagnose issues through analytical problem-solving and component-level troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Stay current on equipment and Lam products via training and certification
- Assist in complex field modifications and maintain records to coordinate Lam-customer activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert representing Lam and delivering customer satisfaction
- Troubleshoot and develop customer action plans; discuss opportunities and challenges to build trust
- Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years; or equivalent work experience
- Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals
- Capable of working in a clean room and wearing PPE
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally; willingness to work varied shifts and overtime as needed
- Strong communication (written and verbal) in English
