Join Lam as a Manufacturing Engineer where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the new product pilot production factory, virtual manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing production factory. Using your knowledge of technology and engineering principles you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. You'll tackle technical, quality, and production challenges. Your expertise optimizing manufacturing costs and standards helps shape Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency in manufacturing. What you'll do •Verify designs of new modules/products/changes and analyze design for manufacturing. •Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line •Review design solutions in terms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function •Create Work Instructions and production process steps •Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing. •Implement non standard customer requests onto products and transfer to manufacturing •Support to transfer new products into high volume manufacturing. •Work closely with suppliers and remote factories •Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time •Continuous Improvement for products, process and manufacturing •Technical education (completed apprenticeship - Lehre; HTL Elektronik/Mechatronik preferred) or higher •5+ years of relevant work experience •MS office, Siemens Teamcenter
