We are a 100% independent, family-owned Luxembourgish company with over 175 years’ experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry (tobacco products, smoking accessories, vaping, CBD and other nicotine products such as nicotine pouches). Within a dynamic environment towards more reduced risk products, we have embarked on an innovative journey to further strengthen our position in Europe, to grow worldwide and to enter new nicotine categories.

To support our current growth, we are looking for a Finance Manager. For this position based in Trier, you will report directly to the General Manager DACH region.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end leadership and accountability for Finance, Accounting, Controlling and Tax, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
  • Management, development, and scaling of a team of 2 to 3 professionals, with a focus on efficiency, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Strategic business partner to executive management, providing proactive financial insights, scenario analysis, and decision support to drive sustainable growth
  • Oversight and integrity of financial reporting under HGB, while ensuring seamless alignment and reporting interface with the holding company under LUX GAAP
  • Direct contact and sparring partner to local and group leadership on all financial, operational, and compliance-related matters
  • Primary point of contact for external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, ensuring transparency and strong relationships

Requirements profile

  • Completed university degree (e.g. business administration) with a focus on finance and accounting - or comparable training
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility
  • Proven leadership responsibility in a comparable position
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office programs and SAP
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • High level of responsibility and commitment as well as cross-departmental thinking and acting
  • Independent, structured and conceptual work
  • Sound understanding of production-related relationships
  • Hands‑on mentality, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
