The district of Rotenburg (Wümme) is looking for the Office for Digitization and IT with immediate effect or later for a Employee (m/f/d) IT Service at the Rotenburg (Wümme) location. The Office for Digitalization and IT with its 28 employees is divided into the areas of information technology, eAdministration, information security and IT service. These are responsible for the IT infrastructure and IT operations of the district administration as well as the development and introduction of digital solutions in the field of digital administration. Your tasks: 1st and mainly 2nd level support is part of your day-to-day business. You will therefore process inquiries and faults, develop solutions to problems, resolve these problems and document the results in the ticket system. You will also be responsible for general administrative and organizational tasks as part of the team. You will set up and maintain user data (Active Directory, MS Exchange) and configure end devices (installation of notebooks, personal computers, zero clients). You will manage printers, copiers and media technology. You will also be responsible for managing the mobile infrastructure (smartphones, tablets). You will be actively involved in the creation of technical documentation and IT user manuals and will also take on tasks in IT projects. You will also maintain the CMDB and the knowledge database. Your profile: You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (career starters are welcome) or have completed vocational training in an IT-related profession with at least two years of professional experience in IT support. You have advanced knowledge in the support of Windows systems, MS Office and mobile computing. You already have basic knowledge in the fields of network technology and IT security. You have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers. You are comfortable communicating facts and acting in an engaging and friendly manner. If necessary, you can also promote understanding. You already have experience of working with ticket systems and technical asset management. You are comfortable creating technical documentation and training materials. You are also familiar with the IT Infrastructure Library. You have a class B driver's license to be able to reach all locations.
