The Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture – a public corporation – is looking for a new position for its Finance Department – IT Division as of July 1, 2025.
IT systems administrator (m/f/d)
with the average regular weekly working hours of a full-time employee. The position is open-ended. The place of work is Rendsburg.
The Chamber of Agriculture is a public corporation that sees itself as an independent service provider for agriculture, forestry, horticulture, fisheries and rural areas in Schleswig-Holstein. It offers its expertise to associations and organizations in the agricultural sector for the benefit of their members and to political institutions as a basis for decision-making and development processes.
Consumer protection, environmental protection and product quality of agricultural products are of particular concern to the chamber. Its strength is its broad expert knowledge. This knowledge forms the foundation for the development of holistic, effective and sustainable solutions.
The range of tasks of the IT department includes all process-related control and coordination tasks such as IT planning and procurement management.
The Tasks Include:
- Conceptual and strategic cooperation in the introduction of further digitization processes within the department
- Tendering and procurement of hardware and software for the Chamber of Agriculture
- The installation of PC systems
- Supporting internal users with hardware and software problems (IT support 1-3)
- Administrative tasks in server and network operation
Against this background we expect:
- Preferably a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship in the IT sector or training in this field
- In-depth familiarization with the structures and interfaces between financial accounting and the IT system of the Chamber of Agriculture
- A very good commercial understanding
- Comprehensive knowledge in the field of network administration
- Knowledge of the installation and configuration of the operating systems, standard software and server environment used (e.g. Windows 11, MS Office, Windows Server)
- Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g. weekends) and to undertake business trips within Schleswig-Holstein
- Possession of a valid class B driving license
