Job Highlights

  • Customer order management (customer contact, timely order entry and processing, order confirmation, price maintenance, availability check of material).
  • Perform customer master data requests and maintenance within the LANXESS systems.
  • Process customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment timing, etc.
  • Assist Marketing & Sales with receivables and credit limit requests.
  • Support sales (as requested) with maintenance of forecast.
  • Identification of customer requirements and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Responsible to receive customer complaints and facilitate resolution.
  • Constant review of inventory and replenishment planning with Production Planner.
  • Track order status (internal / external), delivery time and invoicing.
  • Work in conjunction with 3rd party logistics providers to troubleshoot any shipping problems as they occur.
  • Work in conjunction with 3rd party warehouse providers on any order fulfillment questions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or 3 years of professional experience in a customer service-related field.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work and function in a team environment.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools and SAP a plus.
  • This is a HYBRID role located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.  The expectation is that the candidate will be able to be on site each week.
