Job Highlights
Purpose of the position is to manage application technology team at site Thane, India; Team is responsible for technical service to customers, application development testing, localization of existing products, and to support reliable production of BU LAB production in Jhagadia (under development). Fully responsible for BU LAB laboratory operations and safety.
- Lead laboratory to provide application development testing to support BU LAB selling efforts in the region
- Provide technical support to sales and customers in the region
- Develop customized products using local ingredients in alignment with customer needs in the region
- Provide manufacturing support to Jhagadia site (when open) including quality improvement and raw material qualifications
- Assure lab compliance, safety and efficiency; Provide timely testing and technical support for sales efforts
- Manage and develop team members and culture; Optimize staffing and project resourcing
- Give internal presentations to LAB leadership with open communication of AT development status
Requirements
- Specific Education: Chemistry or Engineering
- Work Experience: 5-10 Years
- Special Skills: Lubricant additives chemistry and process expertise; Up to date with latest lubricant developments and applications; Particular focus on metal working fluid and industrial lubricant applications and additive packages (i.e. hydraulic fluids). Leadership skills, experience supervising R&D teams; Experience with executive presentations. Communication skills including internally and externally (customers); Experience giving customer presentations.
