Job Highlights
- Lead the technical teams (Science & Application, R&D and Analytic) for Business Line Industrial Solutions in North America.
- Efficiently manage personnel, expenses and projects to ensure a competitive and regulatory compliant product portfolio for the North American region.
- Support build and maintain long lasting customer relationships to expand existing business and develop new ones in conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Coordinate local and global R&D projects conducted in Wilmington facility and represent the region in global initiatives.
- Function as site manager for Wilmington location, including interaction and coordination of all site related issues such as site security and site policies.
- Build reputation in the regional (technical) community, raise visibility and represent LANXESS in relevant associations and technical committees.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or comparable degree. Doctorate Degree in a science field of advantage.
- Very good understanding of biocidal regulations. Proficient knowledge of Biocidal products and applications.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in leading technical teams.
- Strong communication skills and capability to create confidence with customers.
- Critical and strategic thinking skills are a must.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- This is a HYBRID role with the expectation to be on-site at the Wilmington, Delaware location several days per week every week.
