Job Highlights
- Manage the global supply of three production facilities in the U.S., based in Institute, West Virgina, Magness, Arkansas and Taft, Louisiana.
- Manage production levels and raw material supply to meet global customer demand. Seek continuous improvement of supply chain-related process & procedures in conjunction with local management.
- Work with global counterparts to anticipate short and long-term demand needs.
- Must be able to work independently on complex problems to analyze costs and capacities. Ability to understand significant regulatory requirements, product quality, customers, contracts, etc.
- Ability to take the information/analysis and collaboratively work with sales, engineering and group function partners to provide value-driven recommendations.
- Must have excellent communication skills to translate the networks complexities to improve awareness, create alignment, and facilitate decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Operations. Master’s Degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of supply chain strategy and its related issues and tools (S&OP, inventory management, economic impact, risk optimization).
- Ability to work with and analyze large set of data, both quantitative and qualitative. Able to determine data consistency and accuracy and its proper correlation to the business.
- Ability to plan, prepare and execute strategic production plans that mirror objectives of the business with a direct impact on divisional profitability and quality of customer service.
- Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and Microsoft Excel and Teams.
- This is a HYBRID role located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. The expectation is that the candidate will be able to be on site at least 3 days per week every week.
