Your Role

As our Finance Lead , you will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving financial excellence across the company. You’ll build and elevate best‑in‑class finance capabilities—ensuring data‑driven decisions, crisp investor communications, and the capital firepower to fuel rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evolve the finance function (accounting, controlling, FP&A, tax, reporting, and data analytics).

• Implement and improve financial reporting systems, processes, and controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.

• Act as a key advisor to the executive team on all financial and commercial decisions.

• Own financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Track financial performance vs. plan, analyze variances, propose actionable insights, and report to internal and external stakeholders.

• Support long‑term financial planning, capital allocation, and investment strategies.

• Drive fundraising processes (equity, debt, grants), including preparation of investor materials and due‑diligence support.

• Prepare financial reports and performance updates for investors, stakeholders, and board members.

• Ensure compliance and timely updates with investor reporting requirements while maintaining transparency in financial disclosures.

• Identify and secure relevant grants and public funding opportunities.

• Develop and track strategic KPIs to support scalable, data‑driven growth.

• Support M&A and strategic partnership opportunities.

• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Who We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a D2C, consumer goods, or scale‑up environment.

• Proven experience in fundraising and investor relations.

• Strong command of financial modeling, budgeting, and business analysis.

• Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus.

• Experience with grant funding (EU, Germany) is highly desirable.

• Hands‑on leader with strategic thinking and a bias for action.

• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a growth mindset.
