Polaarelly, the Lapin hyvinvointialue invites you to join a close-knit team in Sodankylä’s family and child welfare clinic (perheneuvola). The unit is small, comprised of capable and development-minded professionals, with a culture of action and a relaxed atmosphere.
The psychologist in the family clinic will support families in child growth and development, parent-child interactions, and parenting challenges. You will provide guidance, advice and psychosocial support to children and parents, promote positive family interactions, and engage in assessments and networking as part of your duties. You will have opportunities to influence and help shape models and shared practices in perheneuvolatoiminta (family clinic operations), with support from supervisors and collaborative teams. The role includes evidence-based work, and collaboration with other services in Sodankylä and nearby municipalities.
The compensation is 4,688.79 €/month, with flexibility regarding working hours including flexible time and remote work where appropriate. The employment is governed by the Sote agreement and carries a 6-month trial period. A criminal background check is required before finalizing the appointment.
