About This Opportunity
Universität Hamburg is recruiting a Research Associate to develop computer simulations and theoretical methods for XFEL Coulomb explosion imaging within the Advanced Imaging of Matter cluster.
This Research Associate role supports the XFEL-CEI project within Universität Hamburg’s Cluster of Excellence CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter. The appointee will perform mixed quantum-classical calculations of XFEL-CEI patterns for complex molecules undergoing structural dynamics, contribute to XFEL-CEI experiment planning, work with experimentalists to extract information from experimental data, identify limitations of current models and develop new methods.
