WITHOUT CABLES, ALMOST NOTHING WORKS. The two company founders Ursula Ida and Oscar Lapp recognized this early on. What began in 1957 as a small start-up in a garage in Stuttgart has grown over the years into a global group of companies with currently around 5.600 employees, 21 production sites, 36 sales companies and ∼100 foreign representatives. The Group’s portfolio includes cables and highly flexible conductors, industrial connectors and cable gland technology, customized assembly solutions, automation technology and robotic solutions for the intelligent factory of tomorrow, as well as technical accessories. Our core market is the mechanical and plant engineering. Other important sales markets are the food industry, logistics, the energy sector and mobility. We develop, produce and supply everything from a single source.
