Your tasks
- Processing incoming goods inspection lots according to inspection plan in SAP.
- Checking delivered components based on technical drawings (dimensions, material, etc.) or measuring using measuring equipment/devices; processing complaints with suppliers if necessary; processing initial samples with interfaces, including maintaining data.
- Processing customer complaints using 3D/8D reports, including processing returns.
- Coordinating measuring equipment testing with external parties, maintaining data in the system, and coordinating factory approvals (UL, CSA).
- Optimizing test methods and the use of measuring equipment.
- Planning, coordinating, tracking, and evaluating the results of quality assurance measures in production.
- Instructing employees in production when testing parts.
- Creating inspection plans in SAP for new products or adjustments.
- Providing support in quality management.
- Participating in daily production meetings.
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in a technical field.
- Professional experience in a comparable position.
- Good product and process knowledge, as well as knowledge of standards (ISO 9001), quality standards VDE, TĂśV.
- Experience with quality methods/tools, e.g., 3D/8D method, FMEA, Poka Yoke, Pareto diagram, Ishikawa diagram, etc.
- Knowledge of measurement techniques (length, mass, force, tension, compression), shape and position tolerances.
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP/QM.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish contacts effectively.
- Creativity and innovation to develop new ideas and solutions.
- Strong problem-solving techniques and process analysis skills.
- Reliability, diligence, and strong time and self-management skills.
