Your tasks

1. Processing incoming goods inspection lots according to inspection plan in SAP.
2. Checking delivered components based on technical drawings (dimensions, material, etc.) or measuring using measuring equipment/devices; processing complaints with suppliers if necessary; processing initial samples with interfaces, including maintaining data.
3. Processing customer complaints using 3D/8D reports, including processing returns.
4. Coordinating measuring equipment testing with external parties, maintaining data in the system, and coordinating factory approvals (UL, CSA).
5. Optimizing test methods and the use of measuring equipment.
6. Planning, coordinating, tracking, and evaluating the results of quality assurance measures in production.
7. Instructing employees in production when testing parts.
8. Creating inspection plans in SAP for new products or adjustments.
9. Providing support in quality management.
10. Participating in daily production meetings.

Your profile

1. Completed vocational training in a technical field.
2. Professional experience in a comparable position.
3. Good product and process knowledge, as well as knowledge of standards (ISO 9001), quality standards VDE, TÜV.
4. Experience with quality methods/tools, e.g., 3D/8D method, FMEA, Poka Yoke, Pareto diagram, Ishikawa diagram, etc.
5. Knowledge of measurement techniques (length, mass, force, tension, compression), shape and position tolerances.
6. Confident handling of common MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP/QM.
7. Very good knowledge of German and English.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish contacts effectively.
9. Creativity and innovation to develop new ideas and solutions.
10. Strong problem-solving techniques and process analysis skills.
11. Reliability, diligence, and strong time and self-management skills.
