Are you an ambitious PE, M&A, or VC lawyer at the early stages of your career, looking for your next move at a top-tier platform? I'm currently working with several leading law firms across Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt, all actively looking to strengthen their transactional benches with strong junior to mid-level associates.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high-value, market-leading transactions, working alongside some of the most respected practitioners in the German market, on mandates spanning private equity buyouts, public and private M&A, and venture-backed growth transactions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising on complex, high-value transactions across private equity, M&A, and venture capital
- Working directly with Partners and senior associates on deal execution, due diligence, and drafting
- Gaining genuine early responsibility and direct client exposure
- Developing a broad transactional skillset across sponsor side, corporate side, and founder/investor side mandates
- Collaborating within an international, deal-driven team culture with strong training and mentorship
What We're Looking For
- Qualified German lawyer (Volljurist/in) with strong academic results; ideally 18+ points combined across both State Examinations, though excellent candidates with a strong overall profile will still be considered
- 1-4 years PQE in PE, M&A, or VC, ideally gained at a leading international, US, or top German firm
- Fluent German and strong business English
- A genuine interest in transactional work and a proactive, commercially minded approach
- Strong academic pedigree, with a Prädikatsexamen in at least one State Exam a clear advantage
